Terms of Use

These terms apply to the mobile game Cardvista: Jigsaw Solitaire ("the App", bundle / package com.boxapp.cardvista), operated by an individual developer ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

1. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your devices for entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the App, or use it to build a competing product, except where the law allows it.

2. Virtual items

Coins, stars, boosters (Peek, Hint), card backs and similar items are virtual items with no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, and they are not transferable between accounts or devices except through the store's restore feature for items that support it. The App has no random paid rewards (no loot boxes).

3. In-app purchases

The App is free to download and contains optional in-app purchases (for example coin packs, Remove Ads and the VIP subscription), charged by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Prices are shown in the App before you buy. Purchases are handled and refunded under the store's own policies. Use Restore purchases in the App's settings after reinstalling or changing device.

4. VIP subscription

Product: Cardvista VIP, an auto-renewing subscription with a one-month period, priced at US$6.99 per month (the price in your local currency is shown in the App and may vary by country).
Benefits while active: no interstitial ads, a daily gift of coins and a Hint, coins doubled on winning levels, and free wallpaper saves, as described on the VIP screen in the App. Benefits can change and are shown before purchase.
Payment and renewal: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the same price.
Manage or cancel: in your device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription. You keep VIP benefits until the end of the paid period.
There is no free trial. Unused time in a period is not refunded when you cancel.

5. Pictures and credits

Pictures in the App come from public sources and are used under their licenses (public domain, CC0, Creative Commons, Pixabay Content License, or equivalent). The source, author and license of a picture are shown on its collectible card in the App. Pictures remain the property of their respective owners. Wallpapers you save are for your personal use under the picture's own license.

6. Acceptable use

Do not tamper with the App, its content server or its purchase system, or use cheats, bots or modified clients to obtain virtual items. We may limit access if you do.

7. Availability and changes

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. We may update, change or discontinue features or content (including seasonal albums) at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
